We’ve been working closely with Foundry to bring Root: the RPG to life in this amazing VTT platform. Foundry Virtual Tabletop is software that provides an innovative online role-playing experience. The software supports Windows, Mac, and Linux and allows you to self-host a game server that players connect to for free directly through a web browser.
As a thank you for supporting Root: the RPG throughout the years, we’ve got a 30% off code for you from Foundry! This code applies to the Root: the RPG Foundry package, not the Foundry membership. Vertiginous vulpines, vagabonds! It’s been a while, but we’re here to tell you that it’s the Role module for Root: The RPG is about to release!
Role Available
In exciting news, the team at Role has worked with us to complete a full Role module for Root: The RPG! Role is a dedicated platform for online role-playing games, featuring HD video and audio, embedded character sheets, the ability to use any device, and more! The module for Root: The RPG is customized to match and suit the needs of this particular game, allowing you to run your game as smoothly as possible.
In the following days, you’ll receive a free code to redeem your own copy of the Role module for Root: The RPG! They should start sending out tomorrow. If you haven’t received your free code by May 15th, please contact us at [email protected].
To use your new Role code and redeem your copy of the Root: The RPG - Role module, simply follow the instructions in the email. You will need an account with Role to access the product. The codes will not expire!
Free RPG Day
We’re also excited to announce there will be a new Root: the RPG Clearing available for Free RPG Day! This year, Hacksaw Dell will be available during the event at your Friendly Local Game Store on June 24th! Here’s a summary of Hacksaw Dell:
Hacksaw Dell was successfully liberated from the Marquisate through a Woodland Alliance-led rebellion! It stands as one of the only clearings to ever so successfully wrest its own independence from the grip of the great powers…but now, it faces the difficult task of determining what exactly its government and society should look like moving forward. Should it be an out and out democracy with the Assembly of Denizens, slow and plodding as that might be? Does it need a strong leader from the Woodland Alliance to take control and ensure resources are distributed efficiently? Will a crew of vagabonds with differing perspectives be able to help steer the course of the clearing? Play to find out!
